Chily Active Directory Self Service is a user friendly web based interface that facilitates domain users to self update personal profile in real time without intervention of administrator.

Chily Active Directory Self Service facilitates domain users to pursue self-modification or user profile information update of the attributes that include General attributes, Address attributes and Contact attributes. Under the General attributes section, user can update his name, description, email id and office address; under Contact attributes, user can update information like telephone number, mobile number, fax, IP phone etc. Similarly under the Address attributes section, user can update his present address and other details. All this information is highly required and must be updated with an immediate effect as a delayed modification may result in circulation of wrong information.

Users can effectively update their personal information by logging on to the Self Service web-based portal and filling the fields which he is authorized to change. The fields or the sections to be updated by the user are authorized remotely by the administrator from his admin console. Authorizing user himself to update his latest information, results in accurate data and smooth administration.

This software utility helps administrators to notify the users about soon-to-expire passwords so that they can reset their passwords right on time before the password expires at scheduled interval as per the password reset management policy. Notifying the domain user beforehand helps minimizing the number of account lockouts to a significant amount.
